Blend/pulse the almonds and cashews in a blender/food processor until it reaches a flour consistency. You can use a magic bullet, but you may need to cut yields in half and make two batches as the magic bullet cups will not fit all ingredients at once. Main Ingredients

1 cup blanched almonds (or regular almonds)

1 cup cashews

3 tbsp hemp seeds @manitobaharvest

2 tbsp ground flaxseeds

5 tbsps cacao powder @pranabio

1 tbsp maca powder

1 tablespoon chocolate protein (or vanilla protein or collagen peptides) @vegiday

1 tbsp pure vanilla extract

1 tsp cinnamon

sprinkle pink sea salt

4 tbsp unsweetened coconut milk @lovemysilk

1 tbsp orange vanilla mct oil from sea-licious

1 tsp pure maple syrup

top coat mixture:

1 - 2 approx tbsp coconut sugar

1 - 2 approx tbsp cacao powder

Preparation

1Blend/pulse the almonds and cashews in a blender/food processor until it reaches a flour consistency. You can use a magic bullet, but you may need to cut yields in half and make two batches as the magic bullet cups will not fit all ingredients at once.

2Add hemp seeds, flax, cacao, maca, protein powder, vanilla, cinnamon, sea salt , orange vanilla mct oil and maple syrup. Pulse. Once combined, add in coconut milk and pulse until a dough consistency forms.

3Using your hands, roll the dough into balls.

4Optional but adds a nice sweetness: take top coat ingredients and just simply mix together until combined. As per my genius roommate’s idea: only roll half of the balls in the mixture (can also completely cover them, but half is just the right amount of sweetness for me) Plus it looks fancier 😄

5. You can store these in a Tupperware container for about a week in the fridge or a couple weeks in the freezer. PS- these are sooo good just out of the freezer!
