Vegan Sweet Potato Turnover

No added sugar, easy healthy pastry for snack or dessert. If you serve turnover just from oven hot with coconut ice-cream will definitely make anyone's day!

Pie

1/2 package filo pastry (room temperature)

some soy milk (or any milk)

some sesame oil

some white sesame

Filling

520 g sweet potato, peeled, roughly chop and steamed

100 g coconut cream

some cinnamon

1 tbs lemon juice

1/2 tsp salt

Preparation

1First cut the filo sheet into long strip about 10cm wide.

2mix all filling ingredients in a bowl, nice mushed smooth, let it cool.

3place the filo sheet and put carefully one big spoonful filling in the beginning of sheet. Do not fill until the edge of filo, make sure there is one finger space for sealing.

4now flip and turn the filled area in a zig zag way, while brushing or spraying little bit oil here and there(to make it flaky!) to shape a triangle.

5after all triangles are ready, brush with little soy milk on top, sprinkle sesame seed.

6Bake about 20min in 180℃ oven.
