Ultimate Key Lime Pie
Traditional key lime pie gets madeover with a homemade Oreo crust and tangy sour cream topping. This pie is such a crowd pleaser that you may need to make two!

1 package of oreo cookies
3 t. melted butter
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1/2 c. lime juice (i like joe & nellie's key lime juice)
2 beaten eggs
2 t. lime zest, reserve half for garnish
Dash of salt
1 c. sour cream
1/4 c. sugar
1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2*To make crust, place 2/3 the package of Oreos in food processor or baggie to crush into crumbs. Once desired consistency, stir in melted butter until coated. Press crust into pie pan.
3Add sweetened condensed milk, lime juice, lime zest, eggs, and salt into mixing bowl and beat until smooth.
4Pour into prepared crust and bake for 12-15 minutes until filling is set.
5Prepare sour cream topping by turning oven up to 425. Then, combine sour cream with sugar. Spread on top of pie and bake for 5-7 minutes.
6Top with remaining lime zest and chill for two or more hours.
*You could easily use an already-made Oreo crust, but I swear it is 1000% better with a homemade one and takes less than 2 minutes to prepare.
