Main Ingredients

1 inch chunk of fresh ginger root, peeled

1 lemon, juiced

1 garlic clove, skin removed

1 celery stalk*

pinch of cayenne (optional)

sweetener, to taste (i use pure maple syrup)

fresh filtered water to dilute


1This recipe is easiest to make in a juicer. If you have a juicer, just send the ginger, lemon, garlic and celery on through, pour the juice, and add cayenne and a sweetener if using. Dilute with a roughly equal amount of water, and throw it back!

2If you do not have a juice, crush the ginger and garlic in a bowl as much as you can. Squeeze in lemon juice and add an equal amount of fresh water to dilute. Allow to sit for 10-15 minutes, then add cayenne and sweetener. Throw it back, ginger, garlic, and all!
