Sweet and Spicy Sesame Noodles
This is a plain noodles and sauce recipe, which is great by itself. But it's even better with sauteed broccoli, mushrooms, peppers, or any other vegetable you like.

1 (16 ounce) package linguine pasta
3 medium cloves garlic, minced
3 tablespoons sugar
6 tablespoons safflower oil
6 tablespoons rice vinegar
6 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon sesame oil
2 teaspoons chili sauce
1/4 cup green onions, sliced
1 teaspoon sesame seeds, toasted
1Cook your pasta according to the instructions that came with your pasta. I Prefer al dente, meaning cooked for about a minute less than instructed.
2Meanwhile, in a saucepan over medium-high heat, stir in garlic, sugar, oil, vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil, and chili sauce. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, until sugar dissolves. Reduce heat and simmer for about 10 minutes to thicken the sauce.
3Pour sauce over linguine, and toss to coat. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
