Sweet And Spicy Bacon-wrapped Shrimp

Main Ingredients

10 strips bacon, sliced in half

20 pieces peeled, deveined shrimp

3 tablespoons maple syrup

1 tablespoon pepper jelly

1/4 teaspoon salt

cracked black pepper, lemon wedges, green onion

Preparation

1Preheat oven to 400.

2Arrange bacon on a roasting pan and bake for 10 minutes.

3Meanwhile, make the glaze by microwaving the maple syrup and pepper jelly.

4Once bacon has precooked, brush with glaze. Wrap one piece of shrimp in one bacon half. Arrange on the same roasting pan. Brush each shrimp with more glaze, sprinkle with salt and pepper, and bake for 5 minutes.

5Broil the shrimp for 5 more minutes or until bacon is crisp and golden.

6Garnish with lemon wedges and green onion.

Additional Notes

These can be assembled ahead of time and baked off right before guests arrive.
