Slow Cooker Chicken Bolognese Pasta

Main Ingredients

1/2 pound penne pasta

1/2 pound ground chicken

1 onion (minced)

1 garlic clove (minced)

2 cups organic tomatoes (crushed)

1 chicken stock cubes (crumbled) *you can also use regular chicken stock (~1cup)

1 bay leaf




1Add ground chicken to your slow cooker. Sprinkle over the salt, pepper and bay leaf

2Add the minced onion, garlic, crushed tomatoes and crushed bouillon cube

3Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours

4Once cooking is done, cook pasta al dente on the stove-top according to the package directions

5Drain the pasta very well. Add the pasta to the chicken bolognese sauce in the slow cooker. Stir pasta to coat and cover for 10 more minutes so pasta can finish cooking and soak up a bit of the sauce

Additional Notes

Pro Tip: You can make this dish meatless, just simply remove the ground chicken from the recipe and use vegetable stock
