Main Ingredients

2 cans chickpeas

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon seasoning salt

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

2 teaspoons nutritional yeast

1Preheat the oven to 400F.

2Rinse and dry chickpeas well between two cloths, pressing and rolling your hands on the top cloth. Remove as many of the thin chickpea shells as possible (it's okay if you don't remove any, too!)

3Place the chickpeas onto a baking sheet, adding in the other ingredients. Use your hands or a spoon or mix the ingredients well. Spread the chickpeas out evenly.

4Bake the chickpeas for 40 min, or until they are hard to the touch. Turn off the oven and let them sit in there for another 20 min. Remove the baking sheet from the oven and let them cool completely on the sheet.

Additional Notes

Store in an airtight glass container. Plastic containers retain moisture and will cause the chickpeas to become soggy.
