Classic crowd-pleasing sausage rolls

500 g sausage mince (from your local butcher is normally best)
1 medium sized potato, peeled and grated
1 carrot, peeled and grated
1 large zucchini, grated
1 brown onion, finely diced
salt & pepper
1 teaspoon of sage
1 packet of borg's or pampus puff pastry
sesame and poppy seeds optional for topping
1Preheat oven to 200°C. Line 1-2 baking trays with baking paper.
2Mix together, onion, potato, carrot, zucchini and seasoning. Beat 1 egg and add to mince mixture.
3Cut pastry sheets in half. Place sausage roll mixture down the centre of pastry your pastry to sausage ratio is up to you.
4Roll up to enclose filling, and cut into 6 pieces. Brush with egg and sprinkle with sesame or poppy seeds. Place on trays, seam side down.
5Bake for 20-30 mins, reduce heat to 180°C, and cook for 10 minutes until golden. Serve with tomato sauce.
