Wash potatoes. Cut into strips. Put in a pot of boiling water. Let boil for 3-4 minutes. The potatoes will be see thru and flexible, not soft yet. Take them out with tongs or a spoon with slats so the water drains off. Put them in a large bowl with oil. Lightly stir them so the oil evenly coats the fries. Line a cookie sheet with tin foil. Spread fries out evenly on foil. Salt them to preference. . . .

3 medium russet potatoes (idaho potatoes of course)
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tbsp.
1 1/2 tbsp oil (i used light flavored olive oil)
1Wash potatoes.
2Cut into strips.
3Put in a pot of boiling water.
4Let boil for 3-4 minutes. The potatoes will be see thru and flexible, not soft yet.
5Take them out with tongs or a spoon with slats so the water drains off.
6Put them in a large bowl with oil.
7Lightly stir them so the oil evenly coats the fries.
8Line a cookie sheet with tin foil.
9Spread fries out evenly on foil.
10Salt them to preference.
11Bake on your grill on high heat for 15 minutes.
12After 15 minutes, turn fries with tongs so they can brown evenly.
13Put them back on the for another 10 minutes, or until they are browned to your liking.
14Sprinkle Garlic and Herb seasoning on your fries, and serve!
