Roasted Broccoli And Sweet Potatoes

Preheat oven to 400 F Peel and cut your sweet potatoes into 1 inch pieces. Cut up the broccoli so the pieces aren't so large. Place in a large bowl. Add spices and olive oil. Mix all together so the veggies are coated well. On a parchment lined baking sheet, spread out the vegetables so they are not touching and an even layer. If you have to use two sheets then do so. Main Ingredients

2 medium sweet potatoes

4 cups of broccoli pieces

1/4 cup of extra virgin olive oil

1 tablespoon of smoked paprika

1 1/2 teaspoons of onion powder

2 cloves of garlic, minced

1 1/2 teaspoons of black pepper

pink himalayan sea salt to taste

Preparation

1Preheat oven to 400 F

5Bake in the oven for 30 to 40 minutes or until the veggies are slightly brown in places and are tender and crispy. Turn the veggies over once in the middle of cooking.

6Serve on the side of a good steak or whatever you are serving for supper.
