Refined Sugar Free Orange Chicken

2 cup of dates
2 navel orange, peeled
3/4 inch section of ginger
1/2 cup tamari (gluten free soy sauce)
2 tsp sesame oil
2 lbs of chicken thighs
(1 tbsp coconut oil for sautéing chicken if desired-find with chicken thighs you don’t typically need any oil)
1Let your dates soak in some water for about 10 minutes.
2Dice your chicken thighs into 1 inch cubes. If you choose, melt the coconut oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add in the chicken and saute until cooked through and browned (about 10 minutes).
3Meanwhile, in a food processor blend the rest of ingredients up until combined. Add the sauce to the skillet with your chicken and let it simmer.
4Serve on a bed of rice with broccoli on the side.
