Raw Vegan Caramel Pecan Brownies

for the "crust":
1 1/2 cups of coconut flour
5 large soft pitted dates
1/4 cup maple syrup
1/2 cup pecans or almonds
1 tbsp cacao powder
for the caramel:
4 tbsp raw tahini
3 large soft dates
1/8 cup maple syrup
pinch of salt
dash of vanilla extract
1Add crust ingredients to a food processor and pulse until chunky/sticky enough like a dough
2Place into a non-stick pan of choice, I used a mini loaf pan
3Place in the freezer for 20-30 minutes until you make the caramel
4Blend the caramel ingredients together until creamy and smooth
5Remove brownies from the freezer and place caramel on top
6Refrigerate for about 2 hours until caramel firms up
7Top with pecans (optional) and enjoy!
