Paleo Pumpkin Pie Protein Dip
Love the dreamy, creaminess of pumpkin pie filling? Too lazy to make an entire pie to enjoy it? This dip satisfies that pumpkin pie craving, comes together in under five minutes, and is loaded with protein, beta-ceratine, and fiber. What a perfect snack for after school, a workout, or just because you feel like it! I can't think of a more perfect way to use up that random bit of canned pumpkin.
Prep Time: 00:05
Cook Time: 00:00
1 cup canned pumpkin
2 scoops vanilla or unflavored protein powder
1 tablespoon apple butter (or a drizzling of maple syrup until your desired sweetness)
1 teaspoon cinnamon
dash of nutmeg and cloves or pumpkin pie spice
bonus flavor mix-ins: orange or lemon zest, almond butter, pomegranate seeds, shredded coconut, dark chocolate chips, granola,
1In a small bowl, combine all of the ingredients.
2Stir until well combined.
3Taste and add additional maple syrup if needed (which you may need depending on your protein powder).
4Stir in any other mix-ins that float your boat and serve with apple, banana, or pear slices.
