Perfect Pie Crust

Nothing goes better with a holiday meal than pie! And who can just have one? This recipe is the perfect amount of dough for 3 pies.

Main Ingredients

3 cups flour

1 tsp salt

1 cup butter

1 cup cold water

Preparation

1Combine flour and salt together.

2Cut in butter with either a knife or a pastry cutter (dough blender)

3Combine water and mix until just mixed (do not over work the dough)

4Cut dough into 3 equal balls and roll out gently.

5Place into a 9" pie plate and fill with your favorite filling.

6Bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes. Reduce the oven's heat to 350 degrees without opening the oven and bake for another 40 minutes.

7Top with your favorite toppings and enjoy!
