Paleo Slow-cooker Sweet Potato Chili

Main Ingredients

2 pounds of ground beef

1 diced yellow onion

2 diced bell peppers

3 diced sweet potatoes

1 can diced tomatoes

2 cans of tomato sauce

5 . cups of beef stock

5 . cup red wine (or extra beef stock)

1/4 cup chili powder

1 tablespoon salt

1 tablespoon molasses

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1/4 teaspoon black pepper, coriander, and thyme

Preparation

1In a medium skillet, brown beef over medium heat until cooked through and no longer pink.

2Meanwhile, chop onion, peppers, and sweet potatoes into small dice and dump into crockpot. Add cooked beef and remaining ingredients. Stir together until combined. Cover with lid and cook on low for 8 or more hours.

3Ladle into a bowl and top with whatever suits your fancy!
