Paleo Fudge Brownie Protein Bars

Main Ingredients

bars:

3/4 cup almond flour (or meal)

1/4 cup ground flaxseed meal

3 tbsp cacao powder

4 - 6 tbsp of collagen (optional, omit to make recipe vegan/vegetarian, i use further food, code start 10 to save)

5 tbsp coconut oil, melted (i used unrefined since i love the coconutty taste in here)

2 tbsp maple syrup

1 - 2 tbsp almond milk to thin

1/4 cup of your favorite dairy-free chocolate chips)

coconut caramel drizzle (0ptional):

half of thera treats coconut caramel cbd chocolate bar bar

1 tbsp coconut oil

Preparation

1Preheat oven to 350.

2Mix dry ingredients in a medium bowl or stand mixer (almond meal through collagen) then add in coconut oil and maple syrup and mix. If the mixture looks dry, then add almond milk 1 tbsp at a time so you don't make the dough too "goopy".

3Fold chocolate chips into mixture.

4Line a 9x5 inch bread pan with parchment paper and press all dough into pan.

5Bake at 350 for 15 minutes. Let cool completely (I recommend transferring to a cooling rack) before cutting into 6-10 bars (I did 8 and I think it was just perfect!)

6OPTIONAL: Once cooled, you can microwave the other half of your caramel coconut CBD thera treats chocolate bar with 1 tbsp of coconut oil for 45 seconds (stirring half way) and drizzle over your bars. Stick them in the fridge to set.

Additional Notes

Store in the fridge for up to a week.
