Main Ingredients

4 - 6 pieces of nitrate free thick cut bacon

4 chicken sausage links ( i use maple apple flavor)

1 sweet onion

3 plantains

3 apples (i used pink lady)

olive oil or vegan butter

pinch of cinnamon

pinch of salt


1Preheat oven to 400 degrees and place bacon and chicken sausage in a pan and bake for 2o-ish minutes. Just watch the bacon and sausage and make sure it doesn't over cook!

2Slice plantains and place in oil or butter and cook until both sides of the plantains are golden brown!

3Once plantains are cooked add onions and apples and let cook until both are soft and sautéed.

4Add bacon and chicken sausage to the plantain mixture and let cook until you like the way the onions and apples are cooked.
