standard overnight oats

1/2 cup rolled oats (not the instant kind)
1/2 non-dairy milk (i use almond milk)
1/2 cup fruit of choice (i. e blueberries, strawberries, mango, etc)
1/2 banana sliced
1 tbs chia seeds
2 tbs almond butter (optional)
1 tbs agave syrup (optional)
1Grab a jar or airtight container (I prefer glass jars because they are easy to eat out of. You can easily save a jar from salsa or pasta and remove the label and use that if you don't want to buy jars)
2You will layer all your ingredients in the jar so that when you eat it in the morning, you get to enjoy everything in each bite. Start with a sprinkle of fruit and a few slices of banana on the bottom. Top with 1/4 cup of rolled oats.
3Then add another sprinkle of fruit and banana and 1 tablespoon of almond butter if you are using. Try your best to spread it around the layer evenly but it's ok if it's just one glob in the middle too (it happens to me sometimes). Sprinkle your chia seeds on top of this layer too. Top with another 1/4 cup rolled oats.
4Top with the last of your fruit and banana and more almond butter.
5Drizzle the agave syrup over the top of the fruits then pour your entire 1/2 cup of non-dairy milk into the jar. Seal tightly and put in the fridge for you to eat tomorrow!
