3 sticks butter

2 cups brown sugar

1 cup light karo syrup

2 tsp. baking soda

Preparation

1Step 1: Pour the 2 bags of puff corn into a large pan. I use a turkey roasting pan.

2Step 2: Melt the butter and add the sugar and Karo syrup in a sauce pan to create the caramel sauce; Stir, stir, stir.

3Step 3: Add the baking soda to the caramel sauce and stir. It will start to bubble and can overflow so have the puff corn close by.

4Step 4: Pour the caramel sauce over the puff corn and give it a few stirs.

5Step 5: Put the puff corn in the oven at 350 for 45 minutes. Take out the pan every 10 minutes and stir; allowing the caramel to cover each piece of puff corn.
