Matcha Mint And Chocolate Smoothie
This smoothie recipe is based on one I had while vacationing in beautiful Del Mar, California. I was told it would taste like mint chocolate chip ice cream - which it didn't - but I still loved it!

1 banana, cut into 1- inch chunks and frozen
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
1 teaspoon matcha powder
2 tablespoons cacao nibs
1 teaspoon raw honey
1 cup milk of your choice (i like to use lactose-free organic whole milk)
several sprigs of fresh mint
1Add all ingredients to a high-speed mixer and blend until creamy.
Matcha powder is so good for you, but I just haven't loved the taste of it as a tea. When you hide it in this smoothie, you get all the benefits of green tea in a lovely refreshing smoothie. www.simplehealthnut.com
