Main Ingredients

1 cup of brown sugar (packed)

3/4 vegetable oil

1/4 cup of molasses

1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract

1 egg 2 cups of all-purpose flour

2 teaspoons of baking soda

1/4 teaspoon of salt

1/2 teaspoon of ground cloves

1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon

1 teaspoon of ground ginger

1/2 cup of sugar for rolling cookie dough in before baking

Preparation

1Preheat your oven to 375 degrees

2Add brown sugar, oil, molasses, vanilla, and egg to your mixing bowl and mix on medium speed. Once blended, turn your mixer to low speed

3Combine the flour, soda, salt, and spices and mix 1/4 cup at a time into the molasses blend

4Use your cookie scoop to make 1 1/2 inch round balls (if you don't have a cookie scoop use your hands). Drop each ball into the sugar and roll it around until it is glistening with white sugar.
