Main Ingredients

1 apple

1/4 cup cucumber

1 inch ginger

1 inch turmeric

1 tablespoon lucuma

1/4 cup mango (optional)

2 tablespoons cilantro (optional)

2 tablespoons parsley (optional)

1 clove garlic (optional)

1 cup water


1​Wash, peel, chop and apples (core removed), cucumber, ginger, turmeric (and mango / garlic if using)

2Chop up fresh cilantro, parsley

3Add all ingredients to blender

4Add 8 oz water

5Blend at medium to high for 30-50 seconds

Additional Notes

The base for recipe for this is the first 4 ingredients, that is all that you really need for the purpose of this smoothie. You can add more or less of anything to your liking and yes, there are added benefits to each food. Add more water (or ice) for a bigger more watery smoothie - which can be good for hot days. I could feel the effects of this life giving smoothie within minutes. It's easy on the body - as it does not have nuts, dairy or fats, which makes it easier for the body to detox. I can't imagine a day without some variation of this smoothie now. Use garden fresh, organic, farmer's market ingredients when possible... especially if you are using this to detox and heal.
