Little Figgy Crostini
These fig and goat cheese crostini are the perfect appetizer for a cozy fall evening. You will love every sweet and crunchy bite! They pair well with a nice bubbly or white wine.

red pepper flakes
clarified butter/olive oil
1Slice 12 pieces from baguette
2Lightly drizzle clarified butter or olive oil over each piece
3Place in toaster oven or broiler for about 3 minutes
4Remove and spread a thick layer of goat cheese on each toasted piece
5Top with sliced figs, drizzle honey over and put back in oven for about 5 minutes or until honey is bubbling and toasts are crisp and brown
6Remove again and sprinkle with red pepper flakes and chopped basil
