1 1/2 ground beef
1 Xx chopped onion
3 Xx garlic cloves or dried garlic
4 cups v8 tomato juice
2 4 oz cans mushrooms pieces and stems
1 6 oz can tomato paste
1 tablespoon worchestershire sauce
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon parsley flakes
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1 8 oz pkg lasagna noodles uncooked
1 16 oz cottage cheese
1 1/2 cups parmesan cheese
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1Brown ground beef and onions in large skillet. Add tomato ingredients, spices and mushrooms and simmer 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
2In a13"x9" pan layer half of the lasagna noodles, meat sauce, cottage cheese, parmesan cheese, and mozzarella cheese. Repeat layers and sprinkle with parsley flakes. Cover with foil. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
3Remove foil and continue baking uncovered for 15 minutes. Remove from oven and let stand 15-20 minutes before serving.
