Instant Pot Steel Cut Oats
An easy, nutritious and filling breakfast made quick and easy with the Instant Pot!

1/2 cup steel cut oats, rinsed
1/2 cup vanilla hempseed milk
1 cup filtered water
1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla
pinch of himalaya sea salt
dried fruit of choice (optional)
2 drops of cinnamon essential oil
optional toppings: nuts, hemp seeds, honey, brown sugar, fresh fruit
1Add the oats, milk, water, vanilla, sea salt and dried fruit (if using) into the Instant Pot, secure the lid, set it on manual pressure for 3 minutes and walk away! It's that easy! It takes a few minutes to build up pressure then it cooks for 3 minutes. Once it's finished you let the pressure naturally release (meaning you don't open the lid) for about 15 minutes. And then you have perfectly cooked steel cut oats with no hassle!
2After the pressure is released we love to add 2 drops of dōTERRA Cinnamon Bark oil to the pot and stir. For serving we add local honey or brown sugar to taste and hemp seeds, fresh fruit, walnuts or pecans.
It makes a wonderful, filling and very healthy breakfast!
Note: Cooking time will not change even if you adjust for more servings.
