Homemade Refried Black Beans

2 cans black beans, partially drained
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 tbsp cumin
1 tsp chili powder
2 tsp onion powder
2 tsp lime juice
1Pour your partially drained black beans into a pot (the more liquid the runnier they will be.
2Use an immersion blender to puree beans
3add spices and lime juice and heat over medium heat for 3 minutes. Stir and check heat.
4If not hot yet, cook another minute more.
5Stir and serve with chips, top with cheese, or add as a side to your favorite burrito or tacos.
