Herb & Dijon Salad Dressing

2 tsp finely chopped fresh basil
2 tsp finely chopped fresh chives
1 tsp dried dill
1 teaspoon dijon mustard
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/2 tsp maple syrup (or a little more if you like it less tangy and more mellow)
2 twists of ground sea salt
1Finely chop the fresh basil and chives. Add them into the bowl (or mason jar) that you will be mixing your salad dressing in. Add the dried dill in as well.
2Next, add in your Dijon mustard, olive oil, lemon juice, maple syrup and salt.
3Whisk or shake (if in a closed mason jar) your salad dressing to combine ingredients. Taste and if you find the dressing a bit too tangy, add 1/4-1/2 tsp more of maple syrup to make the flavour a bit softer.
4Prepare a fresh salad ingredients for 4-6 servings and add the dressing to the bowl. Toss the salad with the dressing and enjoy!
