Main Ingredients

1 1/2 pounds of ground beef

1 pound of pork sausage

2 (15 oz. ) can of dark kidney beans, drained

1 (15 oz) can of light kidney beans, drained

1 large chopped onion

1/2 cup salsa

2 (15 oz) cans of tomato sauce

1 (15 oz) can water

2 tsp. ground cumin

2 tb . chili powder

2 tsp. garlic powder

1 tsp. oregano

1 tsp. basil

1/2 tsp. salt

1/2 tsp. pepper

1 block sharp cheddar cheese

1 container of sour cream

1 package of cheese tortellini

1 bag tortilla chips

cooking spray

rub/spice

Preparation

1Brown ground beef and sausage.

2Add seasonings and stir.

3Add onions, beans (drained), tomato sauce, salsa, and water. Simmer on low for at least an hour.

4Garnish with one of the 3 variations: cheese and sour cream, cooked tortellini, or spicy chips.

5(Spicy chips are made by putting tortilla chips on a baking sheet. Spray with cooking spray and shake your favorite rub/spice on top. Bake at 250 degrees for 2 minutes).
