Heart Shaped Valentines Day Pancakes

Everything in stores is red and pink, the candy aisle is stock full of those heart shaped candy hearts, and kiddos are getting ready to hand out cards to their friends. Valentine's Day is here and I've got just the recipe you can make with your family and loved ones, or it's wonderful got a Galentine's Day brunch. It's easy to make and pretty clean, but with a few goodies snuck in. After all, it is Valentine's Day! I'm going to show you lovelies how to make heart shaped pancakes using heart shaped cookie cutters and my favorite Vital Proteins flavor, Vanilla Collagen.

Main Ingredients

1 cup of organic flour

1 tsp of himalayan sea salt

1 1/4 cups of organic almond milk

1 scoop of vital proteins vanilla collagen

1 oganic egg

1 cup of white chocolate and dark chocolate chips

1 cup of organic unsweetened shredded coconut

1 cup of organic raspberries

coconut oil spray

griddle

naturally red whipped cream topping:

1 beet juiced

1 cup of organic heavy cream

kitchen aid mixer to blend the beet juice and heavy cream to make all natural red whipped cream topping

Preparation

1Add the flour, salt, almond milk, egg to a mixing bowl and mix on low

2Next, add the Vital Proteins Vanilla Collagen and mix until smooth

3Add half of the raspberries and shredded coconut and mix until smooth (It's okay for the batter to be a little bit chunky)

4Spray a griddle pan with coconut oil spray and heat up to 300.

5Pour the pancake mixture into a glass measuring cup with a pour spout.

6Once the griddle is heated up, pour the pancake mixture out slowly.

7Let the pancake bubble on one side and add white and dark chocolate chips. Press the chips lighting into the pancake, then cook on the other side.

8Once both sides are golden brown, the pancake is cooked.

9Heart Shapes:

10Grab a plate and place the cooked pancake on the place. Take the heart shaped cookie cutter and place into the pancake slowly, and tear away any excess crust. I used various heart shaped cookie cutters that I purchased at Target to make different heart shape sizes.

11Top the pancakes with the all naturally red whipped cream, more shredded coconut, and raspberries for garnish. You can add Kerry gold butter and maple syrup for an, even more, yummy pancake.

12Eat up and enjoy!
