We love guacamole! We use it as a condiment to our Mexican meals but sometimes we make it the meal eating it on a bed of lettuce. There is no exact measurements because I "eyeball it" each time I make it and just stir and taste until it's right. Even the amount of onion, garlic and lime juice are estimates, so experiment to find your favorite combination!

Main Ingredients

4 avocados, peeled

1 onion medium size (either red or sweet yellow), diced

2 garlic cloves, diced

pink himalaya sea salt (i prefer the salt pieces in a grinder)

ground cumin

chili powder

1 tbs fresh lime juice

1 - 2 drops dōterra lime essential oil

1Place the avocado into a bowl with the onion and garlic and mash together with a potato masher to mix.

2Grind the salt over the avocado mixture, stir and taste often. The amount of salt I use really depends on the flavor of the avocados. I use the pink Himalaya salt because it has more minerals, less sodium and a richer flavor than table salt and it makes avocados taste amazing!

3Spinkle in the cumin and chili powder, stir and taste often. I typically use more cumin than chili powder.

4Add the lime juice and lime essential oil. If you don't have dōTERRA lime oil, you can omit, but it really gives a deeper flavor!

Additional Notes

After you make this a few times you will find your groove for the way you like it. Even though the above is our favorite way to eat it, other add-ins include: chopped tomatoes; diced jalapeƱos; cilantro
