This is a very simple and filling dish that the whole family will love. Also it cooks in one pot!

2 lb lean hamburger
2 med onion, small dice
4 - 6 garlic cloves, minced
3 c water
2 14.5 oz cans diced tomatoes
4 - 4 16 oz tomato sauce, or oz cans
2 tbs herbs de province
2 tbs worcestershire sauce
1 tbs house seasoning
2 c macaroni elbows
1 cup cheddar cheese
green onion thinly sliced for garnish (optional)
1In cast iron Dutch oven, brown hamburger for about 10 minutes until cooked to 180•, remove from pot.
2Add onion cook until it starts to brown slightly, then add garlic and cook until you can smell the garlicky goodness.
3Add back meat, and deglaze pan with 1C water.
4Stir in spices, tomatoes, 2/3 tomato sauce, macaroni and remaining water. Bring to a boil then reduce to simmer.
5Cook for 10-15 minutes stirring occasionally until macaroni is tender. Add cheese and remaining tomato sauce and remove from heat to let thicken. Garnish with onion.
