Goofy Chocolate Cake (vegan!)

When you are out of eggs and milk, but need a chocolate cake, this recipe is the answer! Not only that, it is vegan!

Main Ingredients

3 c. all purpose flour

2 c. sugar*

2/3 c. cocoa

2 tsp. baking soda

1 tsp. salt

2 c. cold water

2 tsp. vanilla

2 tsp. vinegar

1 c. vegetable oil

Preparation

1Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees F.

2Grease and flour your pans. You can use 9" layers, or a 9x13 pan.

3Sift all of the dry ingredients together.

4Mix all of the wet ingredients together.

5Combine the wet and dry ingredients in a mixing bowl and mix until well blended, scrapping the bowl as needed. Beat for about 2 minutes.

6Pour the batter into the prepared pans and put in the oven to bake for about 35 minutes or until done.

7Let the cake cool about 10 minutes before removing from the pans.

8Frost with your favorite frosting. To keep the cake vegan, remember to use Almond milk or other non-dairy topping.

Additional Notes

*You can use coconut sugar or stevia or whatever type of sweetener your heart desires here.
