Game Day Cheeseburger Bites

These little yummy appetizers are so simple to make and they pack a punch of flavor in such a small bite. They work great as a hearty appetizer for a crowd, potluck picnics or just a fun twist on the traditional cheeseburger without a bun.

Main Ingredients

cheeseburger bites

1 1/2 lbs ground beef

1/4 cup onion, diced

1 t sea salt

4 slices cheese, your choice

16 pieces dill pickle

lettuce

grape tomatoes

special sauce

1/2 cup mayonnaise

4 tbsp dill pickle relish

2 tbsp yellow mustard

1 tsp white wine vinegar

1 tsp paprika

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp garlic powder

1 drop of celery seed essential oil

1 drop of dill essential oil

1 drop of black pepper essential oil

Preparation

1Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

2In a bowl mix ground beef, onions, and salt. Combine well.

3Scoop out 1 1/2 ounce balls about the size of a small cookie and place on lined baking sheet.

4Bake at 400 for 15 minutes and cooked through.

5Mix the sauce ingredients in a bowl and mix thoroughly.

6When mini burgers are cooked, remove and turn oven off.

7Slice cheese into small squares and place on top of each burger bite. Put back in the cooling oven to melt cheese slightly. Remove from oven.

8Top each bite with lettuce and pickle. Put a skewer through for easy serving.

9Serve Special Sauce alongside.
