Family Friendly Turkey Reubens

A variation of the original reuben sandwich...often called "the Rachel" because the sauerkraut is exchanged for coleslaw and the corned beef is exchanged for turkey. Great sandwich for hungry families!

Main Ingredients

1 loaf pepperidge farm deli swirl rye and pumpernickel bread

1 bottle thousand island dressing

1 package of sliced swiss cheese

1 pound of deli turkey

1 jar marzetti coleslaw dressing

1 bag of tri-color coleslaw

butter

Preparation

1Butter one side of slice of bread

2Put butter side down on griddle on medium heat.

3Add 1 slice of Swiss cheese

4Add a handful of deli turkey

5Pour a small amount to Thousand Island dressing over turkey.

6Add a spoonful of coleslaw* onto the turkey.

7Top with another slice of bread with butter side up.

8Flip over sandwich and toast with heavy lid on top for about a minute.

9Serve and enjoy!

10*Coleslaw - Mix 1 jar of coleslaw dressing with a bag of tri-color coleslaw;
