Main Ingredients

1 pie crust

8 - 10 ounces of shredded mozzarella cheese (or more! )

basil-dried or fresh

olive oil


1Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.

2Spread your pie crust in your pie or tart pan.

3Fill up the pie crust with your shredded mozzarella cheese.

4Tomatoes - if you're using large tomatoes you can slice & places slices on top of cheese or if you're using small cherry tomatoes slice in half & place in a circular pattern on top of the cheese.

5Sprinkle basil over the tomatoes & drizzle with a little olive oil if desired.

6Bake in the over for 20-30 minutes until the cheese is melted. Let set for 5-10 minutes to allow cheese to cool. Enjoy!
