4 whole cloves

4 Each white peppercorn

Glaze

1/4 cup orange juice

3/4 cup brown sugar

2 tbl corned beef stock

1 tsp mustard

1/4 cup whiskey

Preparation

1Place corned beef in large pot, cover with water. Add whiskey, garlic, bay leaves, cloves, and peppercorn. Bring to boil. Simmer covered 3-4 4 hours until tender. Remove from pot reserving liquid.

2Place corned beef in roasting pan. Cut outerface crosshatch fashion. Prepare glaze by combining all ingredients in a saucepan. Cook over low heat until well blended.

3Pour over corned beef. Bake at 400 for 30 minutes, basting every 5 minutes.
