Creamy Vegan Pesto Sauce

3 cups fresh basil leaves
1/3 cup raw unsalted cashews (soaked for 6+ hours or boiled for 10 minutes)
2 tablespoons raw unsalted pine nuts*
3 tablespoons nutritional yeast
2 - 3 cloves roasted garlic
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon white miso paste
1/2 cup water

*Pine nuts are expensive! Sometimes you can find a good deal on them in the bulk food section, but if not feel free to replace the pine nuts with an equal amount of soaked cashews.
