Main Ingredients

3 cups fresh basil leaves

1/3 cup raw unsalted cashews (soaked for 6+ hours or boiled for 10 minutes)

2 tablespoons raw unsalted pine nuts*

3 tablespoons nutritional yeast

2 - 3 cloves roasted garlic

2 tablespoons lemon juice

1 teaspoon white miso paste

1/2 cup water

Preparation

1Combine all ingredients in a high speed blender or food processor until consistency is creamy. Heat in pan and combine with pasta or use as a spread on sandwiches or a dip for raw veggies.
