cranberry sauce that tastes like christmas in a jar

8 oz bag of fresh cranberries
1 1/2 cups blueberries (frozen or fresh)
1 cup red wine (i use cabernet sauvignon, typically the cheapest one i can find)
1 cup sugar
1 tbs cinnamon
1 tsp ground cloves
1 Stick cinnamon (optional)
1Combine all ingredients together in a pot large enough to allow the mixture to expand and mix well.
2Bring to a rolling boil. Stir often and allow the cranberry sauce to almost triple in size (about 5 minutes).
3Reduce heat and simmer for about 25-30 minutes or until the sauce has thickened and most of the cranberries have burst. Stir occasionally.
