Clean Pumpkin Spice Syrup
This is one of my favorite times of year! Fall is all things pumpkin spice and this is the perfect addition to your morning coffee or breakfast entree. This is a clean version of pumpkin spice syrup without all of the added fillers and sugars.

1 - cup of organic pure pumpkin puree
1/2 of a cup of pure maple syrup
3/4 of a cup of organic raw honey
1 - tablespoon of organic vanilla extract
2 - cinnamon sticks
pumpkin spice - ginger, cardamon, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
add as much as you like, i like my syrup spicy so i add a lot!
1Add maple syrup, honey, and vanilla extract to a medium sauce pan and simmer on low heat for 2-minutes. (Stir the entire time!)
2Add the organic pumpkin puree and keep stirring.
3Add the cinnamon sticks in and let them simmer in the sauce pan.
4Add pumpkin spice (ginger, cardamon, cinnamon, and nutmeg) and add as much or as little as you like. If you like it spicy like I do, add a lot of pumpkin spice!
5Bring the heat up to medium and bring the syrup to a light boil and then return heat to low and simmer for 10-minutes, stirring the entire time.
6Once your syrup is done simmering, let cool for 5-minutes or add directly to your bulletproof coffee.
The pumpkin spice syrup will keep in the fridge for up to 5-days. I like to store mine in a sealed glass jar to maintain freshness.
