Cinnamon Cacao Banana Waffles

1/2 cup waffle mix
1 tbsp flax
2 1/2 tbsp water
2 tsp coconut oil
3 tbsp almond milk
1/2 large banana, chopped into tiny pieces
1 tsp maple syrup
1 tbsp cacao powder
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 inch piece vanilla bean, scraped, pod discarded

7Put 3 heaping tablespoons into each waffle plate. Close and allow batter to cook per your waffle maker's instructions.
8Remove carefully, set aside on a cooling rack, and repeat until batter is gone.
Makes about 3 large and 1 small waffle. To serve, top with sliced bananas, almond butter, and sprinkle of cinnamon and cacao powder.
