This super easy and quick hummus recipe has a wonderful refreshing taste. You can spread it on your sandwiches, or use it as a dip.

1 cup cooked chickpeas
1/4 cup fresh cilantro, lightly packed
1 large garlic clove
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
2 tbsp water
3 tbsp olive oil
1 - 1/2 tbsp lemon juice
1Add all ingredients to a high power blender.
2Blend ingredients together until it is smooth in texture and is the consistency you desire.
3Transfer hummus into a bowl, with a sprinkle of cayenne pepper.
4Refrigerate for 20 minutes to allow the flavors to marry.
Serve this hummus with your favorite pita chips, toasted, bread, or even on a sandwich!
