Chocolate-strawberry Lara Bars

Main Ingredients

2 cups nuts (i used half almonds, half brazil nuts because i had them on hand)

1 cup dates

1 cup freeze-dried strawberries

1/2 cup dark chocolate chips


1In a food-processor or blender, pulverize the nuts until they form a crumble.

2Add the dates and pulse until a sticky mass begins to form.

3Dump in the strawberries and dark chocolate chips, pulsing until mixed into date-nut mixture.

4Scoop out mixture into a parchment-lined loaf pan. With your fingers or a spoon, press the mixture into the pan to form. Chill for at least an hour and cut into bars. Store covered in the fridge for up to two weeks or at room temperature for a week.
