Chocolate Peppermint Bliss Balls are perfect for a quick energy boost or afternoon snack before a day of shopping. These treats are loaded with healthy ingredients and are surprisingly filling with an added health boost from the peppermint essential oil that gives these bliss balls a cooling sensation. Recipe makes 20-30 depending on the size you prefer.

Main Ingredients

2 cups pitted dates

1/2 cup almonds

1/2 cup craisens

2 tbsp coconut oil

1 tbsp cocoa powder

1 cup dark chocolate wafers

1 drop peppermint essential oil

candy canes


1Blend almonds, craisens and dates in a food processor for several minutes.

2Mix peppermint essential oil to coconut oil and add to mixture along with cocoa powder.

3Roll mixture into balls of preferred size and place on baking tray lined with parchment paper.

4Melt chocolate wafers in microwave or double-boiler and coat balls. Sprinkle with smashed candy cane for garnish.

5Put in fridge to set & enjoy!
