Chocolate Almond Butter Bars
When you want rich decadence without the guilt, these no bake bars are the way to go!

1 1/2 cups creamy almond butter
1/4 cup maple syrup (or honey)
1/4 cup coconut flour
1/3 cup coconut oil, melted
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt (skip if your nut butter is salted)
The Chocolate Topping:
4 oz. dark chocolate, chopped
2 tablespoons creamy almond butter
1Line an 8x8 pan with parchment paper and grease lightly with coconut oil, set aside.
2In a medium mixing bowl, stir together the almond butter, maple syrup, coconut flour, coconut oil, and salt (if using). Pour evenly into prepared pan. Refrigerate.
3Combine the chocolate and almond butter in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30 second increments until the chocolate has melted – stirring between (timing of this will vary depending on the size of your chopped chocolate pieces and the heat of your microwave – it took me 3x30 seconds to melt completely).
4Take the pan out of the refrigerator and pour the melted chocolate mixture over top of the bars, spread to cover. Refrigerate again.
5It takes approximately 2 hours for the bars to completely firm. If you cannot wait, they are still delicious, but a bit messier.
Store leftovers (if any) in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks. For different flavour varieties, try making these bars with a combination of almond butter and cashew butter.
