Main Ingredients

1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast

1/2 cup chopped celery

1/2 cup chopped carrots

1/4 cup chopped onions

2 cups chicken broth

2 cups water

pasta noodles of your choice

salt, pepper, thyme, rosemary to taste


1Place chicken in large pot and cover with water.

2Bring to boil and cover

3Let cook for 20 minutes.

4Remove from heat.

5Drain pot and chop up chicken,

6Return chicken to pot with vegetables and pasta noodles.

7Add broth, water and seasoning.

8Bring to boil.

9Boil for 5 minutes, stirring occassionally.

10Reduce heat and let cool until you're able to eat it without burning all taste buds off.

11Enjoy a bowl!

Additional Notes

I did not give a measurement for the noodles because I feel it should be to your preference. You could do homemade noodles, but that requires more preparation. You can use purchased pasta for a quicker option. If you use more noodles and need more liquid, just make sure your ratios stay the same.
