Boozy Cherry Chutney
A dark sweet-salty relish
Prep Time: 10:00
Cook Time: 20:00
2 cups cherries, pitted and chopped (optional: soak whole cherries in bourbon for 12 hours and rinse)
1/2 tsp fine sea salt
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1/8 cup balsamic vinegar
1/4 cup lime juice
1/4 cup diced onion
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tsp worcestershire sauce
1 tsp mustard seed
1/2 tbsp minced ginger
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp hot paprika
1Combine all ingredients in saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Stir frequently and cook until chutney thickens, about 20 minutes.
2Store in fridge for 1-2 weeks. Bring to a BBQ to impress friends.
