Canned Tuna Ceviche

2 tbsp red onion, minced
1 1/2 limes
1 tsp olive oil
2 tbsp cilantro, chopped
1 jalapeño, minced
1 can chunk white albacore tuna packed in water
1 medium plum tomato, finely diced
3 drops tabasco sauce (optional)
1/2 medium avocado, sliced
1In a medium bowl, combine the red onion, pinch of salt, juice of lime and olive oil.
2Mix in the chopped cilantro, jalapeño, drained tuna, tomato, and Tabasco (optional).
3Cover and marinate in the refrigerator at least 20 minutes to let the flavors blend.
4Serve with fresh sliced avocado.
