Black Bean & Greens Salad W/ Wrap Option!

This salad is chocked full of goodness and mercy! Super healthy and alkaline inspired! It's also versatile becoming the filling for a delicious and convenient wrap. It's all up to you!

Main Ingredients

2 cups kale, rinsed and chopped

2 cups spinach, rinsed and chopped

1 can black beans, rinsed and drained

1/2 red onion, thinly sliced

1 avocado, sliced

10 green olives, chopped

1 lemon, juiced/ or 1 tbsp lemon juice

2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

1 tbsp garlic, minced

1 tsp sea salt

1 tbsp abstract spice

fresh cracked pepper to taste

for wrap options:

*your favorite wrap

*nori sheets (roasted seaweed)

*extra avocado


1In a large bowl, simply combine all ingredients and toss well.

2Wrap Option:

3Grab your favorite wrap.

4Mash avocado on top of wrap.

5Add a nori sheet to adhere to avocado on top of wrap and press down.

6Add salad and wrap it up!

7Slice in half and enjoy!

8Lower Carb Option:

9Toss the wrap! Add avocado on top of nori sheet, then add salad.

10Roll gently, slice in half and enjoy!

Additional Notes

This recipe is truly delicious and good for you as is! But if you're looking for a bit more protein, add chopped egg and/or your favorite lean protein to top this salad. Also, to kick it up a notch in the Fall/Autumn, try adding roasted sweet potato or butternut squash cubes for a heartier approach.
