Main Ingredients

1 large egg

1 whole wheat slice of bread

1/4 of tomato sliced

1/2 avocado sliced

pinch of salt

pinch of pepper

pinch of cayenne pepper

Preparation

1In a large frying pan, add crack 1 large egg open and cook on high heat for 2 minutes. Turn it down to medium after 2 minutes has passed. Cover the frying pan, and continue cooking. Egg should be cooked for 8-10 minutes.

2Add slice of whole wheat bread into toaster and cook for about 4-5 minutes depending on individual toaster.

3Take 1/4 of a tomato and slice it thinly into round slices. Put aside for later assembly.

4Cut avocado in half, and only slice thinly and vertically the one half. Wrap up the other half and store in fridge. Put aside the sliced avocado for later assembly.

5Pull out bread from toaster, and place on a plate.

6After egg is cooked, (you can tell by there being no clear substance and a firm rim on edge- should be 8-10 minutes), take off heat and set aside.

7Assemble the tomato onto the toast first and spread out evenly. Next, add the avocado onto the tomato, and also spread evenly. Finally place the egg on top, and season with pepper, salt, and cayenne pepper if desired. Cut toast in half if desired.

Additional Notes

Seasoning is optional on this recipe, especially the cayenne pepper. I just add that in because I personally love spice. Cutting the toast in half is also optional, it can sometimes be messy to do so.
